“How to Write the Perfect Resume and Cover Letter”
Good, error free resumes and cover letters are an important part of career development and an essential component in getting an interview, and hopefully landing the job. This presentation provides guidelines and ideas on how to create and develop your resume and the importance of a concise, focused cover letter. Audiences also will gain a better insight into choosing the correct resume format and how to avoid common mistakes.

Mr.Danley J. Yip, Divison Director of Robert Half Management Resources will present “How to Write the Perfect Resume and Cover Letter”.
Danley is a graduate of UBC with a BA degree and a degree from the Faculty of Commerce. After obtaining his CA designation from PwC, he worked primarily as a CFO for companies, such as BC Hot House Foods and Great Canadian Railtour Company (better known as “Rocky Mountaineer Railtours”). He has also been the Director of Finance for the City of Richmond, prior to joining Robert Half.
Danley is currently a National Board member for FEI Canada, the Chairman for FEI Canada’s Membership Committee and part of the local FEI Vancouver Chapter Board. He has been the Chairman of the Membership Committee for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC and has been a Board member for 2 not-for-profit organizations.
Certificates of attendance will be available after the session via e-mail and should be kept as evidence of 2 hours of verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) under the ACCA CPD program.
